Domus Lounge Chair

Designed by Iilmari Tapiovaara in 1946. The characteristic Domus Lounge Chair was designed, alongside the Domus chair, for the public spaces at the Domus Academica’s student housing. In the 1940′s it was not possible to produce the large veneer seat/back rest element from one piece. Therefore, the chair is only now being produced as Tapiovaara originally designed it.
