Tomoko Azumi (born in 1966, in Hiroshima, Japan) is a director of TNA Design Studio, London: a furniture, product, exhibition and retail interior design consultancy for multinational clients.
She graduated with an MA Furniture Design from Royal College of Art in 1995 and together with her partner, formed the AZUMI design studio. In 2005 she established her own studio. Recent works include: ‘Twiggy Lamp’ for Maxray (Japan),‘Tra’coat stand for Zilio A&C (Italy), ‘At-At’ workstation for Röthlisberger (Switzerland) and ‘Royal Exchange Shop’ for Harrys of London (UK).
Her works are in public collections and include the‘Table=Chest’ (1995) exhibited in new Furniture Gallery at the V&A, London.
