Eero Saarinen designed the Tulip Table and Chairs not because he was thinking about that particular shape, but because he was thinking about rooms. “The undercarriage of chairs and tables in a typical interior makes an ugly, unrestful world,” as he put it. “I wanted to clear up the slum of legs. I wanted to make them all one thing again.”

Materials:
Side chair on swivel or fixed pedestal base made from Rislan coated cast aluminium in white and black, with seat shell made from moulded fibreglass reinforced plastic.
Available with inner shell upholstered, or un-upholstered with removable foam cushion available in a variety of fabrics and colours
