In 1970, Robert Indiana created a twelve-foot corten steel LOVE sculpture which, critics believe, manifested the artist’s desire to reclaim his ‘stolen’ design.
The monumental sculpture is now in the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s permanent collection where they also reproduce a LOVE replica paperweight.
